About Us

Northtown Care Connection is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to close the support services gap between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. The vision of Northtown Care Connection (NCC) is to empower individuals and families facing financial insecurity to create a more secure future by providing direct access to essential resources, fostering stability, and connecting them with the faith-based community.  We provide direct access to essentials like clothing/shoes, baby supplies, toys, school supplies, household/hygiene items, and more for families facing financial insecurity; while actively reaching and stabilizing the homeless across Erie and Niagara Counties.  Our focus is the underserved communities in what we call “the gap”-the communities between Buffalo and Niagara Falls.  Our goal is to create a one-stop compassion hub of care by partnering with other faith-based organizations & ministry groups, collaborating with community organizations, and connecting those we serve to the local church in order to empower people not just to survive, but to thrive and build stability.  Our mission is simple-We C.A.R.E. (Connect, Access, Resource, Empower)- Connecting people to lifechanging resources, increasing access within underserved neighborhoods, resourcing essentials for families in need, and empowering individuals to build stable futures.

NCC has four independent, but collaborative ministries that work together to accomplish our mission:

Clothe Me Co-Op
Front-facing retail distribution model offering low-cost/free children’s and family clothing, shoes, winter wear, toys, books, school supplies, and seasonal items. Many resources, including baby essentials, are provided free throughout the year, especially when connected with other compassion ministries/social service agencies.

Emergency Essentials
Provides critical supplies for families in need, including baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, food), hygiene products, household essentials, and new socks/underwear. Often partnered with other ministries to reach the most vulnerable families.

Shelterless Ministry
Serves individuals who are homeless, temporarily sheltered, or living in unstable housing situations across Erie and Niagara Counties through various forms of outreach and essential support.

Table of Grace
Supports our Shelterless Ministry with lunch bags distributed throughout Erie/Niagara Counties and partners with a Buffalo church to provide hot meals to the community.
